Massimo, Hongla, Ada, and Mina fiercely competed at the NYC Indoor Paddling Regatta and then took Manhattan by storm for a whirlwind weekend of activities.
Hongla won a Silver (250m) and a Bronze medal (500m) while Ada and Mina won 2 Gold medals each on 250m and 500m distances. Massi also won 2 Gold medals on the 1000m and 500m distances. Mina, Ada, and Massi, with the help of a paddler from Xtreme NY DB team, won another gold in the 500m mixed race. Congratulations on an outstanding performance. It was successful trip and they hope more Paddlefish will compete next year.
Congratulations to Massimo Cenciarini on his great performance in the Three Rivers Rowing Association 18th Indoor Rowing Championship on Saturday Jan 30th. Massi put in a fantastic time of 7:10.6 to place fourth in the Masters Men (30-35) Final. That translates to a split of 1:47.7, so keep that in mind when you are struggling to do the team workouts.
Way to go Massi!!

….into the Monongahela River. It was a Pittsburgh kind of day, with the air temperature at 28 degrees and wind gusts to 20 MPH. Among the hundreds of participants was our own Bob R-D. Bob has been a regular on the Polar Bear circuit. On previous years, Massi and Carolyn N have joined Bob in this New Year’s Day tradition, but this year he was the lone Paddlefish.
