Pittsburgh Paddlefish Dragon Boat Team Welcomes the G-20

We often draw comparisons to sport in our efforts to describe the worlds of business and politics. Many terms used in one culture, however, do not apply to contests that other cultures are familiar with. Here in Pittsburgh, a city that prides itself on its sporting traditions and success, there is a particularly apropos metaphor to be made for the G-20 Summit: dragon boating.

2009 Mercer (Princeton) Dragon Boat Race

Hello Paddlefish or Dragon Boat fan,
the 2009 Mercer (Princeton) Dragon Boat Festival will be held on September 19th. This is a great event that is always fun and competitive. Only a few paddlers of the Pittsburgh Paddlefish may be there.
Steel City Dragons (SCD), our fellow team in Pittsburgh, are looking for paddlers to have a full boat. If you are interested on joining the SCD, please send an email to sbaloch_at_verizon.net
